 VirusKiller™ is a volutionary eco-friendly bedding collection developed by afontane in collaboration with CMA+ which is a newly established “Technology Commercialization Centre” under CMA Testing of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) after two years of research and development. It is the first-ever innovative application in the bedding industry that incorporates self-cleaning and wash-free features functionality.  

 We have long been dedicated to researching technologies for antimicrobial, antiviral, mold-resistant, mite-resistant, and odor-resistant bedding products. With the growing public concern for environmental conservation and carbon reduction, we have developed the VirusKiller™ collection. Even after 12 months of regular use, these products remain refreshingly clean and hygienic, just like new, without any unpleasant odors, bacteria, molds or viruses. Users can reduce the frequency of washing, contribute to energy conservation, carbon reduction,  and save on detergent costs and time.  

 The VirusKiller™ collection is particularly suitable for households with heavy housework, busy professionals, and elderly individuals who may have difficulty changing bedsheets independently.   

 This revolutionary product has proven: 

  ·        The products that come in direct contact with the skin (such as fitted sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, comforters, etc.) remain effective for 12 months of continuous use. 

 ·        The products that do not come in direct contact with the skin (such as pillows, duvets, mattress protectors, etc.) remain effective for 36 months of continuous use.  

 ·     As confirmed by the CMA Testing, the bedding products used as duvets that directly touch the skin canmaintain their cleanliness and freshness for 12 months of continuous use without washing. There were no detections of viruses (such as H1-H16 influenza viruses), bacteria, molds and odors.  

 ·     Verified through the Dynamic Olfactometry method specified inaccordance with the Eurpoean Standard Method (EN13725), the product has been found to have no detectable odor after one year of use without washing. 

 ·     SGS testing has confirmed that even after 30 washes, the product remains effective in suppressing various bacteria, including 1) Candidaalbicans, 2) Escherichia coli, 3) Klebsiella pneumoniae, and 4) Staphylococcusaureus. 

 ·     The Active Chemical Products (ACP) used in the fabric have been tested and assessed as harmless to human health, and they are listed as permitted on the OEKO-TEX® ACP listing. 

 ·      Verified by Gmicro Testing, according to the ISO 18184:2019(E) testing standard, the product retains a high efficacy of 99.37% in inhibiting influenza viruses even after 30 washes. 

 *Please note that this does not include surface stains. It is recommended to wipe any surface stains with a damp cloth or follow the washing instructions on the label.

*Anti-mite technology is applied on products with lining.
